- Illegal Dumping Cameras
- City Attorney has determined purchase of cameras is not an appropriate use of area commission funds
- May be able to get the cameras funded through private donations, if Refuse confirms they can use gifted cameras
- Would then ask Refuse for locations to place cameras, monitor camera locations, and open 311 tickets
- Kobacker Park
- Southern Orchards held Earth Day event April 18 to clean up park
- Jon Riewald has said he would be willing to help fund improvements at the park
- Kathy has reached out to Katherine to ask about this process
- Traffic Safety
- CPD
- Each zone is expected to have additional officers to focus on Vision Zero enforcement
- Abandoned vehicles - every Tuesday CPD are going to take 311s to investigate abandoned cars, with potentially 3 positions hired to cover this
- Desire for additional All-Way Stops
- Jenkins between Parsons and Lockbourne
- Columbus & Heyl
- Whittier & Ohio and/or Champion
- Potentially many others
- Red light running
- Enforcement issue - citywide problem
- Fairwood and Frebis, Hosack and Parsons
- Speed limit
- Desire for lowered speed limit on Ohio, Champion, Whittier
- There is a 311 request type for speed limit change
- Will also likely need to engage City Council members
- Children’s Hospital also concerned with speeding on 18th St north of Livingston (outside of CSSAC)
- Colorful Crosswalks
- Kathy has asked Children’s if their VP would reach out to the City regarding this
- Bike Plus
- Integrity Dr / Alum Creek Trail Connection
- Cap will be finished in about 3 years - should start talking about this potential connection now
- Recreation and Parks would likely be best group to reach out to
- PR Committee
- Because funds allocated for cameras were not able to be used for cameras, funds were reallocated towards swag purchases
- Chip clips and bags were ordered
- Vanessa should be ordering new business cards
- Tablecloths
- Kathy has 10 white square tablecloths (card table sized) as well as a large folding table that can be used
- May need to order larger table cloth for the large table
- Still have 3 or 4 of the tabletop easels as well as some of the posters that we made
