Parks

Millbrook Park

  • Overgrowth has been cleared by the adjacent property owner
  • Attempting to determine where the property line is
    • Appears to be approximately 140 feet south of the sidewalk, or about 15 feet south of the edge of the basketball court

Kobacker Park

  • Southern Orchards beautification
    • Meeting with Rec & Parks and Jon Riewald to explore whether park improvements can be privately funded

Illegal Dumping

  • No updates

Participatory Budgeting

  • South Side Thrive idea collection events:
    • July 28, 5:30–7:00 PM at the Reeb Center
    • August 4, 5:30–7:00 PM at the Parsons Library

Integrity Drive to Alum Creek Trail Connection

  • City previously had environmental concerns
  • Kathy contacted Ohio Soil Recycling; the land is capped
  • Kathy to reach out to the City Attorney’s Office

    • Will come to the Area Commission meeting in September

    • 3 office/business/institutional zoning districts

  • Uses
    • Whittier is likely to be designated as Emerging Mixed Use
    • Permitted uses will likely be similar to UGN2
